The Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace (those bearskins!), a walk down The Mail and through St. James Park, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the garden of the Royal Horseguards, Trafalgar Square, National Portrait Gallery, taxi to St. Paul’s Cathedral where we climbed to the tippy top… all before lunch!
Reinforced by sandwiches we scuttled over to East London to see Brick Lane, check out some DIY artist book shops and White Cube. After figuring out the tube we made it back to the hotel’s much needed zen garden before dinner at Pizza East in Notting Hill.
